QA Manual Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to execute manual test cases, identify defects, and ensure software quality. You will collaborate closely with development teams to verify that web and mobile applications meet functional and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and report software defects using a bug‑tracking tool.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and testing scope.
• Perform regression, functional, and integration testing.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing best practices.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve processes and usability.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in manual software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• JIRA (or similar bug‑tracking tool).
• TestRail (or similar test‑case management tool).
• SQL for basic database validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium or Postman.
