Purchasing/Logistics Associate

About the role

VIPA Hellas is seeking a Purchasing/Logistics Associate to join its Thessaloniki office. The role works a 10:30‑19:00 shift and involves managing purchase orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring smooth communication between suppliers and shipping partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date purchasing records and create purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Book and confirm shipments with carriers via online platforms, meeting all deadlines.
• Coordinate with suppliers and shipping companies to guarantee timely delivery to ports.
• Provide suppliers with required documentation, including purchase orders, regulatory papers, and loading instructions.
• Monitor shipments daily, report status to managers, and address any delays or issues.
• Collaborate with documentation and order‑completion teams to ensure all paperwork is complete.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a shipping or logistics environment.
• Proficient English language skills.
• Customer‑centric attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
