Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Purchasing Coordinator to implement our purchasing strategy, manage vendor relationships and maintain optimal inventory levels for our industrial and hydraulic equipment business.

Key responsibilities

• Implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s business plan.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet business and sales requirements.
• Plan, organize and execute purchase orders to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Monitor order progress, ensuring compliance with quality, quantity, pricing and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate receipt of goods and ensure accurate, timely processing.
• Work closely with vendors to resolve operational issues.
• Evaluate vendor performance and prepare improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain, preferably in the industrial‑hydraulic sector.
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering; MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain is a plus.
• Fluent in Greek and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems.
