Project Manager – Solar PV Projects

About the role

Metlen Energy & Metals is seeking a Project Manager to lead Solar PV projects within its MRES-ET division in Athens. You will be responsible for guiding projects from concept through delivery, ensuring they meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Solar PV projects from inception to completion, delivering on time, within scope and budget.
• Coordinate technical and managerial aspects of each project.
• Prepare, update, and control the Project Management Plan, including schedule and budget.
• Handle deviations and change orders to keep projects on track.
• Support review and negotiation of EPC and subcontractor contracts.
• Liaise with utilities and authorities for interconnection, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Allocate resources effectively and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Solar PV project management.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong analytical, reporting and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Solid understanding of contract and project risk management.
• Proven experience in negotiations and dispute resolution.
