Project Manager

About the role

SALFO & Associates SA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the technical and managerial aspects of major building and infrastructure projects in Greece. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate contractors’ plans, schedules, methodologies, and technical strategies.
• Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with Greek Public Works Law (4412/2016, 3669/2008) and contractual requirements.
• Prepare monthly engineering reports and technical documentation for clients and stakeholders.
• Identify improvement areas and implement best industry practices for complex projects.
• Maintain comprehensive, organized project records for compliance and future reference.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to minimise schedule, cost, and technical impacts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Implement quality control measures and supervise performance of all project parties.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (MSc) in Civil Engineering.
• More than 10 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role on major building or infrastructure projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Greek Public Works Law (4412/2016, 3669/2008).
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with public authorities.
