Production Manager – Food Manufacturing (Thessaloniki)

About the role

The client, a leading consumer goods manufacturer in the food sector, is looking for a results‑driven Production Manager to lead the Thessaloniki plant. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations while meeting customer demand and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate daily production activities to maximise efficiency.
• Lead and develop production teams and shift supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP and Health & Safety regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Support installation of new production and packaging lines, including automation projects.
• Monitor KPIs such as OEE, raw material usage and delivery performance.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality Control and Logistics to achieve business objectives.

Required profile

• University degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in food manufacturing or consumer‑goods production, with large‑team management.
• Hands‑on, adaptable, strong communicator able to work under pressure.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.
