Privacy & Technology Lawyer

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, self‑driven lawyer to join PwC’s Privacy & Technology team in Athens. The role involves advising clients on complex data‑protection, privacy and technology matters, helping them navigate regulatory requirements and mitigate risk.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including licensing, SaaS and data‑processing contracts.
• Conduct legal due‑diligence with focus on data protection, intellectual property and technology‑related agreements.
• Assist clients in building and maintaining compliance programmes for GDPR, DORA, the Digital Services Act and the AI Act.
• Prepare legal opinions on privacy, consumer and digital law issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (Greek qualification) and admission to the Athens Bar (or other Greek bar).
• 2‑3 years of post‑admission experience with hands‑on knowledge of GDPR, DORA, the Digital Services Act, consumer protection and intellectual‑property law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
• Excellent legal and business analytical abilities and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
• Master’s degree in Data‑Protection Law or DPO certification is a strong asset.
