Pharma Retail Buyer

About the role

DrP Wellness Group is seeking an experienced Buyer to manage purchasing and commercial operations for its pharmaceutical and retail business. The role focuses on ensuring product availability, optimal pricing, and efficient stock management while supporting the Category Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day purchasing activities and place orders based on stock levels, demand and sales data.
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues such as product codes, pricing discrepancies, availability, quantities and deliveries.
• Collect and forward supplier data, agreements and documentation to internal teams.
• Support the Category Manager by negotiating prices, monitoring quantities and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Enter and maintain data in the ERP system, list new articles, update product databases and share information with stores.
• Analyse sales, stock and pricing data to support decision‑making and participate in special projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of buying experience in a retail chain, pharmacy chain, FMCG or similar structured retail environment.
• Strong understanding of purchasing, supplier management, stock replenishment and demand planning.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and product/master data management.
