Pay Transparency Consultant

About the role

Grant Thornton Greece is looking for a Pay Transparency Consultant to join its HR & Payroll Advisory Services team. The consultant will help clients implement pay transparency and equity initiatives, ensuring compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive while fostering fair and sustainable reward practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of pay transparency and equity projects across various industries.
• Analyse compensation and payroll data to identify pay gaps and assess regulatory compliance.
• Develop methodologies, governance frameworks and roadmaps for pay transparency implementation.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Reward and Legal teams to align compensation practices with legislation.
• Design salary structures, job architecture, grading frameworks and remuneration policies.
• Prepare client reports, presentations and data‑driven recommendations.
• Monitor updates to the EU Pay Transparency Directive and related local laws.
• Participate in client workshops, meetings and business development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, HR Consulting or Total Rewards.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience handling payroll and HR data.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar analytics tools.
