Packaging Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Packaging Engineer to join our growing team in Kryoneri, Attica. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing packaging solutions that meet technical, operational, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical specifications for new packaging materials.
• Confirm compatibility of new materials with existing packaging lines, including machinability.
• Plan, supervise, and evaluate trials for new packaging materials.
• Create new packaging material codes in the ERP system.
• Develop packaging material specifications for new artworks and verify cutting dies.
• Manage artwork flow between suppliers and the Approval Department, ensuring final approved artwork is delivered.
• Support the creation of packaging instructions for new products.
• Participate in the design and implementation of new packaging lines, including trials and technical specifications.

Required profile

• Degree in a technical field such as Industrial Design or a related discipline.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a packaging role within an industrial production environment.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
