Network Security Engineer

About the role

PwC Greece is looking for an ambitious Network Security Engineer to join its Cyber Security Tech team. You will design, implement and continuously improve enterprise network and security solutions, including SASE, web‑application and API security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain SASE platforms, next‑generation firewalls, Web Application Firewalls and API security solutions.
• Administer Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet security technologies, including firewalls, centralized management, VPN services and threat‑prevention policies.
• Support Imperva and Fortinet application‑security products such as WAF, API Security, FortiWeb and FortiAppSec Cloud.
• Implement Secure Web Gateway, Zero Trust Network Access, CASB integration and remote‑user connectivity.
• Configure and optimise firewall policies, NAT, URL filtering, intrusion prevention and threat‑prevention services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience as a Network Engineer, Network Security Engineer or Firewall Engineer.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Palo Alto Networks (PAN‑OS, Panorama, GlobalProtect, Prisma Access).
• Hands‑on experience with Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiClient, FortiSASE, FortiWeb, FortiAppSec Cloud).
• Experience with Imperva WAF and API Security solutions.
• Knowledge of SASE, Secure Web Gateway, Zero Trust Network Access and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) concepts.
• Experience with SD‑WAN architecture, routing, application steering and connectivity troubleshooting.
