Mechanical Senior Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior mechanical engineer to lead the design, installation and commissioning of MEP systems across our new resort projects in Greece. The role combines technical oversight with interior‑design coordination to ensure high‑quality, safe and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage design packages, collaborating with consultants and contractors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and material submissions from consultants and contractors.
• Oversee interior‑design concepts for hotel rooms, front‑of‑house, retail, dining and guest‑service areas, ensuring alignment with the group’s creative vision.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with industry standards, QHSE regulations, local and international building codes.
• Supervise installation, commissioning and maintenance of MEP systems, keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and authorities to integrate MEP systems seamlessly and resolve design or installation issues proactively.
• Provide engineering input for value‑engineering studies and create method statements for safe execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in construction or building‑services, preferably in hospitality developments.
• Fluent in English and Greek.
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational abilities.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset for working with diverse teams and external authorities.

Required skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit MEP
• BIM (Building Information Modeling) for 3D modelling and clash detection
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety standards and accessibility requirements
• Understanding of materials, finishes and manufacturing techniques
