Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to bridge design concepts with shop‑floor production in the energy sector. You will ensure that products are designed, refined, and manufactured efficiently, with high quality and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new product designs and implement engineering changes tailored for energy applications.
• Drive product standardization and industrialization to streamline manufacturing.
• Maintain and improve Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and technical documentation.
• Translate design concepts into feasible production processes and resolve shop‑floor technical issues.
• Organize production schedules, prioritize tasks, and monitor workflow efficiency.
• Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks through coordination with Procurement, Warehouse, and R&D.
• Track production times, operational costs, and performance metrics.
• Lead continuous‑improvement (KAIZEN/Lean) and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Utilize ERP systems to monitor work‑in‑progress, material consumption, and output.
• Support and guide the production team daily, championing quality, safety, and professionalism.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or industrialization within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques, assembly processes, and production flows.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and BOM management.
