Logistics Manager

About the role

Our client, a growing import and commercial representation company in the FMCG sector, is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the central warehouse and coordinate regional hub operations. Reporting to the COO, the role blends hands‑on operational leadership with strategic planning for future logistics development and facility expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the central warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and high service levels.
• Manage inbound logistics, order flow, packaging, distribution and customer‑service activities.
• Provide remote operational leadership to regional hubs and supervise warehouse supervisors, traffic office and packaging support teams.
• Oversee relationships and performance with third‑party logistics providers, transport partners and external warehouses.
• Ensure effective inventory management, order fulfillment, replenishment and nationwide distribution coverage.
• Design, implement and monitor warehouse policies, procedures, controls and operating standards.
• Track KPIs, budgets, costs and operational reports, applying corrective actions as needed.
• Support space utilization, layout planning and compliance with health, safety, security and ISO requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree considered an asset.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager or comparable leadership role.
• Proven experience across warehousing and distribution, preferably in FMCG, food, pharmaceutical or temperature‑controlled environments.
• Experience with decentralized warehouses or regional hubs is a strong advantage.
• Involvement in design, setup, expansion or relocation of a warehouse/logistics centre is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency in databases and operational reporting.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
