Junior Accountant

About the role

SKY express is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to support its Finance team. You will be involved in revenue accounting, customer reconciliations, billing processes, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely transaction recording within the dynamic aviation sector.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record accounting transactions accurately and promptly.
• Perform reconciliations to verify financial and operational data.
• Support billing and revenue accounting activities, including customer account reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects and other Finance team initiatives as required.

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Analytical mindset capable of handling large volumes of financial data.
• Numerical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented communication style.
• Proactive attitude, accountability, and integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1‑2 years of accounting experience; Big 4 audit or travel industry background is a plus.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both spoken and written.
