Java Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role

SYNTAX IT Group is looking for a highly skilled Java Full-Stack Software Engineer to design and deliver enterprise‑grade solutions. You will work on both back‑end services and Angular‑based front‑end applications while contributing to the research and development of new software products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to refine requirements.
• Develop and enhance Angular front‑end interfaces and integrate them with back‑end services.
• Build RESTful APIs and manage API gateways.
• Implement unit, integration, and automated tests following TDD principles.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices with tools such as Jenkins and Azure Pipelines.
• Support production reliability through logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Document technical designs and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on back‑end development experience with strong Java OOP skills.
• Proven experience with Java Spring Boot and API design.
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
