IT Support Associate

About the role

Cenergy Holdings S.A. is looking for an IT Support Associate to join the team at its Thiva plant. You will be the first point of contact for users, providing both remote and on‑site technical assistance while helping to keep the company’s hardware, software and applications running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for IT issues via the corporate service‑desk ticketing system.
• Deliver first‑level support to end users, both remotely and on‑site.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, peripherals and applications.
• Monitor, prioritize and resolve support requests in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware and network problems in collaboration with the Network and Systems Engineering team.
• Maintain high user satisfaction through clear communication and effective problem solving.
• Support the design, development and maintenance of internal software solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar support role, preferably in a production environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and general IT service‑management practices.
• Residency in the wider Viotia region.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows client environment and Office suite.
• PC hardware, peripherals and mobile device support.
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
• Active Directory, Windows Server and SQL basics.
• ITIL service‑management knowledge.
• Hyper‑V virtualization (nice to have).
• SAP client‑side support (nice to have).
• Familiarity with databases such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite (nice to have).
