IT Internal Audit Manager – Governance, Risk & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious IT Internal Audit Manager to join PwC Greece’s Governance, Risk, Compliance & Internal Audit team in Athens. The role involves leading high‑impact audit projects, assessing complex IT environments and helping clients strengthen their technology risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead a team to execute IT internal audit activities across the audit universe.
• Conduct comprehensive IT risk assessments and create audit plans for systems such as ERP, CRM, SCM and WMS.
• Evaluate the security, reliability and control effectiveness of IT operations against industry standards.
• Assess compliance with regulatory frameworks including DORA, NIS, GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Provide insights, recommendations and automated testing methods to improve internal controls and risk management.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, presentations and visualisations for senior management and audit committees.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in IT internal or external audit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to coach and manage audit teams and deliver high‑quality deliverables.

Required skills

• Audit of ERP, CRM, SCM and WMS systems.
• Knowledge of DORA, NIS, GDPR and EU AI Act compliance requirements.
• Experience with automated audit testing methods.
