Inside Sales Account Manager - SMB Networking

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an Inside Sales Account Manager for its SMB networking business in Athens. The role is designed as onsite, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. You will manage a set of assigned accounts, build and forecast the sales pipeline, develop account plans and work with outside sales, channel partners and end customers to close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Sell complex solutions, products and services for assigned accounts, and give input on sales strategy and quota forecasts
• Create account plans and recommend approaches for complex accounts
• Generate, qualify and review new leads, working with partners and field sales to ensure smooth transactions
• Understand client needs and use knowledge of the product portfolio to drive new acquisitions and retention
• Lead targeted pipeline building, forecast and plan data-driven sales activity
• Provide coaching to team members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field (IT or sales preferred)
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Industry experience highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and lead a team or project when needed

• Demonstrated account management, acquisition, retention and development skills
• Knowledge of IT and industry solutions and of the company's product portfolio
• Communication and negotiation skills
• CRM or Salesforce knowledge
• Hunter or farmer/relationship selling approach depending on the role
