HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager will lead the Human Resources function for the Athens office, supporting roughly 250 employees. This senior partner role aligns local HR practices with Greek employment law, company policies, and the Group’s global HR strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Act as strategic HR partner to Athens leadership, aligning people strategies with business goals.
• Provide expert advice on organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management and people‑related risk.
• Ensure compliance with Greek labour legislation and company policies, working with external legal counsel as needed.
• Lead performance management, talent development, learning, succession planning and change initiatives.
• Oversee local compensation, benefits and payroll processes, including annual salary reviews.
• Maintain accurate HR systems and records for the employee lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, systems and employee services.
• Partner with regional and global HR teams to implement Group‑wide policies and programs.
• Lead, coach and develop the local HR team, ensuring strong service delivery.
• Provide workforce analytics and HR insights to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR managerial role.
• BSc or MSc in Human Resources.
• Strong knowledge of Greek labour legislation.
• Proven experience in a large, preferably multinational, corporation.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted productivity tools (e.g., Claude) for HR efficiency.
• Knowledge of the Workday platform (preferred).
