Head Waiter / Waitress

About the role

As the Head Waiter/Waitress at F ZEEN ATHENS, you will lead the front‑of‑house service team in an upscale, adults‑only urban retreat. You will ensure every guest receives attentive, personalized service that reflects our philosophy of holistic well‑being and genuine hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and make tailored suggestions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Serve orders promptly, paying special attention to dietary requirements such as allergies or vegan options.
• Upsell additional items when appropriate.
• Arrange and maintain clean, well‑set tables throughout service.
• Deliver checks, process payments and ensure smooth checkout.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and other serving staff.
• Adhere to health‑department regulations and service standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a waiter/waitress, preferably in a 5‑star hotel environment.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Hands‑on experience with cash registers and POS ordering software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Effective communication and active listening skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts and a collaborative team spirit.
