GRC & Internal Audit Data Analyst – Associate/Senior

About the role

Join PwC Greece’s Governance, Risk, Compliance & Internal Audit team as a Data Analyst. You will use data to help clients identify risks, strengthen controls, and improve business processes through data‑driven audits and insightful visualisations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial, operational and transactional data to uncover trends, anomalies and control weaknesses.
• Extract, cleanse, transform and validate data from multiple systems, performing quality checks and reconciliations.
• Support data‑driven audit procedures, control testing and risk‑management projects.
• Develop reports, dashboards and visualisations using Power BI.
• Document methodologies, validation procedures and results.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver client‑focused deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, internal audit, consulting or finance.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Power BI (or similar reporting tools).
• Familiarity with SAP financial and transactional data.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication in both Greek and English.
• Proactive, responsible and team‑oriented attitude.
• Nice to have: Master’s degree, experience with Python or Alteryx, exposure to large or complex datasets, consulting or client‑facing projects, relevant certifications.
