About the role

The role is to plan, deliver and assess high‑quality learning experiences for primary school students, fostering their academic, social, emotional and personal development in a safe, inclusive and engaging environment. It aligns with the school’s mission, vision and values while implementing the curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the primary academic programme, ensuring effective curriculum delivery and innovative, student‑centred teaching practices.
• Analyze academic results and develop continuous‑improvement plans.
• Coordinate, mentor and evaluate the primary teaching team, identifying professional‑development needs and leading pedagogical meetings.
• Participate in recruitment, induction and ongoing support of new teaching staff.
• Monitor students’ academic, social and emotional progress, implementing support strategies for diverse learning needs.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment, coordinating behaviour‑management and wellbeing initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, participating in meetings, conferences and school events.
• Prepare academic and performance reports, coordinate timetables, assessments and school activities, and ensure compliance with internal policies and educational regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licence as required by local regulations.
• Minimum of X years of teaching experience in primary education; experience in bilingual or international schools is an advantage.
• Strong classroom‑management and instructional skills, with sound knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate methodologies.
• Effective communication, planning, organisational and assessment abilities.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous professional development and student‑centred learning.
