Front Office Agent

About the role

We are looking for a Front Office Agent to be the first point of contact for guests at our Athens property. The role involves welcoming visitors, handling reservations and ensuring a smooth, memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Perform check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently.
• Manage online and telephone reservations using the OPERAA PMS.
• Inform guests about payment options and verify credit‑card details.
• Register guest information and assign rooms according to preferences.
• Address guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to guarantee rooms are clean and ready.
• Confirm group bookings and arrange personalized services for VIPs and event attendees.
• Upsell hotel facilities and services.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments.

Required profile

• Minimum one year experience in a similar front‑office or reception role within hospitality.
• Degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism.
• Fluent English; additional language a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Team‑oriented with a pleasant, guest‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the OPERAA property management system.
