Front-End Developer

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Front-End Developer to join its digital initiatives. You will work within agile teams to design, develop, and launch web solutions that support the company’s business and technology strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and product teams to develop digital initiatives.
• Participate in research, analysis, design, development, and testing of front‑end solutions.
• Work with conversation analysts, architects, and other developers to produce appropriate designs.
• Ensure technical integrity and quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Take part in code reviews and share knowledge across the team.
• Translate functional requirements into technical user stories and assign business value.
• Partner with mobile and web teams to develop features from conception to launch.
• Coordinate with vendors and technology partners to deliver state‑of‑the‑art solutions.
• Help remove technical impediments and communicate progress across project stages.

Required profile

• Computer Science or Engineering background.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and developing software.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication in English.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage tasks independently, and effective in a fast‑moving, multi‑project setting.

• JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Front‑end frameworks: React, Next.js.
• Web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, responsive design principles.
• RESTful API integration.
• Version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Server‑side rendering frameworks with Node.js (e.g., Next.js).
• Unit testing.
• GraphQL.
• Micro‑frontend architecture.
• Build tools: Webpack, Vite.
• Headless CMS and Node.js.
• Modern front‑end build pipelines, CI/CD processes.
• AI‑assisted development workflows and coding assistants.
