Financial Controller – Manufacturing & Business Support

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance for a manufacturing client. The role acts as a strategic partner to management, delivering accurate analysis and driving process improvements in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor budget performance, analyse variances and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support profitability, cost and margin analysis across operations.
• Develop and track financial and operational KPIs.
• Coordinate statutory audits and serve as primary contact for external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, internal policies and myDATA reporting obligations.
• Monitor production costs, inventory valuation and manufacturing variances.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Assist with R&D incentives, grants and development law projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong background in financial reporting, controlling and audit processes.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial production or FMCG environments is preferred.
• Good understanding of tax and accounting principles.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and collaborative.
