Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join the Finance Department of a large‑scale resort in Halkidiki. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will support financial control, performance management and business partnering across the resort’s diverse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and strengthen financial processes and controls, ensuring accurate and reliable financial and management information.
• Provide financial analysis and business insights on revenues, costs, profitability and overall performance to support management decisions.
• Act as a financial business partner to operational and commercial departments, aiding performance improvement.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, delivering variance analysis.
• Monitor revenue streams and cost centers, especially the hotel operation, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and enhance management reporting and performance analysis.
• Support CAPEX evaluation, business case development, cash‑flow and working‑capital management.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, controls and overall efficiency while supporting accounting, tax, VAT, regulatory compliance and external audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; ACCA/CPA qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance or controlling roles.
