Financial Controller

About the role

Temenos is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial operations at its headquarters. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, support strategic financial planning, and drive performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans that align financial objectives with the overall business strategy.
• Assess financial performance, identify improvement areas and growth opportunities.
• Manage and control the company budget, monitor variances and ensure adherence to allocated funds.
• Oversee costing and budgeting processes, providing forecasts and cost analyses for projects and operations.
• Lead data collection and analysis to produce insightful financial reports for decision‑making.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate performance, trends and risks.
• Manage financial auditing processes to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, scenario planning and investment analysis.
• Provide financial oversight for Line of Business products, ensuring viability and profitability.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating financial information clearly.
• Apply managerial accounting principles to support operational decisions and performance measurement.
• Develop, implement and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain internal controls.
• Oversee the review and reporting of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations regarding financial performance and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of financial principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting and audit coordination.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and internal compliance requirements.
• Proven capability to develop and enforce financial policies and procedures.
