Financial Assistant

About the role

Diaplous Maritime Services is looking for a detail‑oriented Financial Assistant to support the Finance Department in day‑to‑day operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with month‑end and year‑end activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor account balances.
• Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners as needed.
• Help with budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.

Required profile

• Organized and analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and within a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
