Field Technician

About the role

Intellectica is recruiting a Field Technician for a fast‑growing technology company that provides advanced solutions for the wind energy sector. The role combines workshop activities with hands‑on field work, requiring frequent travel to on‑shore and off‑shore wind farm sites in Greece and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test and troubleshoot technical systems and equipment at customer sites and renewable energy installations.
• Support new installations and system upgrades, including equipment mounting, cabling, electrical connections, work on electrical panels and basic network tasks.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, identifying issues and carrying out repairs or component replacements.
• Participate in commissioning and testing activities to verify correct configuration and operation of installed equipment.
• Provide on‑site technical support during installations, troubleshoot unexpected issues and document work performed.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma, IEK qualification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Refrigeration, Automation or related field.
• 2‑4 years of hands‑on technical or field‑based experience.
• Experience with CCTV/Security systems, electrical installations, renewable energy projects (wind or solar) and industrial field service environments.
• Good understanding of basic electrical principles, panels, cabling and ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Comfortable working at height, fluent in English and Greek, valid driving licence and availability for regular domestic and international travel.
