F&B Cost Controller

About the role

Beef Bar Athens, located in the Astir Palace, is seeking a highly organized Food & Beverage Cost Controller. This permanent position combines purchasing, procurement, inventory management, cost control and SAP administration, reporting directly to the General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the purchasing and procurement process through SAP.
• Create and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for operational supplies.
• Handle purchasing requests related to CAPEX and OPEX.
• Process, register and verify supplier invoices in SAP.
• Monitor supplier pricing, price lists and agreed commercial terms.
• Perform price checks and variance analysis, identifying discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and inventory in cooperation with kitchen, bar and other departments.
• Conduct regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies and take corrective action.
• Verify deliveries and ensure proper matching between purchase orders, goods received and invoices.
• Prepare regular cost‑control reports and analysis to support the General Manager.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cost control, purchasing, procurement, inventory control or finance, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong practical knowledge of SAP.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of purchasing, inventory, invoicing and cost‑control processes.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Fluent in both Greek and English.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple operational departments in a fast‑paced, high‑end environment.
