Environmental/Performance Engineer

About the role

Lavinia Tankers is looking for an Environmental/Performance Engineer to support the monitoring, analysis and optimisation of vessel performance and environmental compliance across its modern tanker fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse vessel performance and emissions data.
• Develop and track key performance indicators such as EEOI, SOx, NOx and PM.
• Ensure compliance with CII, EEXI, EU ETS, UK ETS, FuelEU Maritime and related regulations.
• Support digitalisation initiatives, including telemetry systems and high‑frequency data handling.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve operational efficiency and environmental performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (NTUA or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in vessel performance analysis and environmental compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent command of English and solid computer literacy.
