Environmental Measurements Technician

About the role

DECUS is seeking a full‑time Environmental Monitoring Technician to work in Thessaloniki. The position involves conducting environmental measurements in the field, primarily at industrial facilities and client sites, and supporting Environmental Management projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out environmental measurements in industrial environments and client sites.
• Operate, inspect, and perform basic maintenance of environmental monitoring equipment.
• Record, collect, and process field measurement data.
• Prepare technical reports and present measurement results.
• Travel to client facilities and project sites using a company vehicle.

Required profile

• University degree or technical qualification in Environmental Management, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to work at height and a valid driving licence.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
• Completed military obligations where applicable.

Required skills

• Operation and basic maintenance of environmental monitoring equipment.
• Data processing and preparation of technical reports.
• Proficiency with MS Office and internet applications.
