Dispatcher

About the role

The Dispatcher coordinates transport orders and purchases transport services to ensure timely freight delivery from departure to arrival. This role works closely with drivers, carriers, and clients to create efficient routes and schedules while complying with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule transport orders and procure transport services based on client requests.
• Organise drivers, trucks, routes and delivery schedules for each shipment.
• Select transport solutions that match client needs and comply with technical, legal and customs regulations.
• Evaluate and choose suppliers according to price, quality, feasibility and deadlines.
• Continuously optimise flow and explore alternative logistics solutions.
• Enter order details, record operations and update freight database systems.
• Verify completeness of transport documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, service providers and subcontractors.
• Provide daily reporting to clients on shipment status.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar dispatcher or logistics role within an international company.
• High proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Greek is a plus.
• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics Management, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
