DevOps/SRE Engineer

About the role

T-Digital, the Deutsche Telekom tech hub in Greece, is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE Engineer to design, operate, and scale production‑grade platforms for millions of telecom customers across Europe. You will work in an agile, international environment where innovation and customer obsession are core values.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and support production Kubernetes clusters, handling scaling, advanced networking, RBAC, and troubleshooting.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and implement GitOps practices with ArgoCD or similar tools.
• Develop and manage Helm charts, including custom templating and lifecycle management for complex micro‑services.
• Integrate container security tools (e.g., Trivy), enforce image signing, and implement admission control policies.
• Configure cloud networking (DNS, VNETs, subnets, load balancers, ingress controllers) on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Deploy and operate observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus) and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Write automation scripts in Go, Python, or Bash and support service‑mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Assist emerging AI/ML workloads, deploying model serving platforms like KServe.

Required profile

• 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience in distributed, production environments.
• 3+ years of hands‑on Kubernetes administration.
• Strong background in cloud‑native infrastructure (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
• Proven ability to design CI/CD pipelines and apply GitOps principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, and application layers.
