DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Automation (Remote – Greece)

About the role

You will join a forward‑looking team that leverages cutting‑edge cloud technologies to deliver reliable, automated infrastructure. Working remotely from anywhere in Greece, you will design, build and maintain AWS‑based platforms and Kubernetes workloads, ensuring smooth operation for development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to plan, deploy and manage applications on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code principles.
• Drive adoption of best‑practice patterns for development and operations.
• Manage technical domains or projects, guaranteeing architectural consistency, scalability and business alignment.
• Identify automation opportunities, optimise processes and improve system reliability.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives and report progress to senior leadership.
• Ensure 24/7 business continuity with minimal downtime and financial impact.
• Conduct regular compliance assessments of cloud deployments.
• Stay current with emerging tools and industry trends.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant DevOps experience.
• Solid understanding of solution design and deployment projects.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or Jenkins) and version control (Git).
• Strong organisational, documentation and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration, networking and scripting.
