Customer Consultant (Engineer) - Athens

About the role

Alumil, a European group researching, developing and producing architectural aluminium systems, is looking for a Customer Consultant (Engineer) to join its Sales Division. The role is based in the offices in Acharnes, Athens, and involves answering client questions about the systems and the technical specifications of their projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to advise on aluminium requirements for regional and internal projects, working directly with project stakeholders.
• Conduct static studies to select the appropriate profiles during the design phase.
• Take part in creating techno-economic proposals using the company's cost estimation tool.
• Carry out project analysis, provide full technical support and perform value engineering to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Support architects, private individuals, fabricators and group subsidiaries.

Required profile

• University or TEI degree as an Architect, Civil or Mechanical Engineer (or similar).
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Previous experience with aluminium is appreciated.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in effective customer experience.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD or other design software.
• Very good computer skills.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving.
