Cook A – Kitchen Station Lead

About the role

Ready to own your section? As a Cook A at Glyfada Riviera Hotel, you will lead your own station in the kitchen, cook with high‑quality ingredients and guide the cooks who work with you. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will have a real say in the dishes served and a clear path to grow in your culinary career.

Key responsibilities

• Run your section from prep to plating, ensuring every dish leaves the pass perfectly.
• Guide, train and support Cook B and Cook C on your team.
• Keep your section stocked, check deliveries and advise the chef on ordering.
• Minimise waste and store, label and rotate ingredients properly.
• Share ideas for new dishes and specials with the chef.
• Ensure HACCP hygiene and food‑safety rules are followed at all times.
• Step in for the Sous Chef when needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, including time as a Cook B.
• Strong cooking skills with good knowledge of Mediterranean and international cuisine.
• Experience leading or training junior cooks.
• Good knowledge of HACCP hygiene and food‑safety rules.
• Organised and calm under pressure, even on the busiest nights.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
