Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the delivery of large‑scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. Reporting to the Construction Director, the role involves coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing site teams, and overseeing the full project lifecycle from mobilisation to close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the construction budget and detailed time schedule.
• Prepare execution plans, method statements, and quality plans.
• Set up the construction site, organise the site team, and supervise daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets.
• Collaborate with the procurement manager on the project procurement plan.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Manage building‑permit supervision and close‑out activities.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Architectural, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10‑15 years of on‑site construction experience, including supervision of subcontractors and whole projects.
• Experience with procurement/tender processes and contract management.
• Proven ability to coordinate design documents and trade‑specific shop drawings.
• Strong team orientation and focus on delivery, quality, health and safety.
