Condition Monitoring & Reliability Engineer

About the role

This full‑time on‑site position in Athens focuses on condition monitoring and reliability engineering for electromechanical equipment across maritime, heavy industry and renewable sectors. The engineer will act as an analyst, using diagnostic technologies to detect early signs of equipment degradation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor performance of electromechanical equipment using vibration, thermography, ultrasound and other diagnostic techniques to detect early signs of failure.
• Prepare technical and failure‑analysis reports and communicate findings to customers’ maintenance or reliability teams.
• Optimize predictive‑maintenance techniques for various equipment and conduct root‑cause analysis of breakdowns.

Required profile

• Polytechnic University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and active registration with the Technical Chamber of Greece.
• Fluent in English and Greek, with strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Military service completed (if applicable).

Required skills

• Vibration analysis, infrared thermography, acoustic emission (ultrasound) and electric motor testing.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of bearings, lubrication practices and root‑cause analysis techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows.
