Cafe Sales and Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The Cafe Sales and Marketing Coordinator supports the Hard Rock Cafe Athens sales and marketing team, taking ownership of initiatives that drive revenue, manage contracts, and promote the brand across digital and on‑site channels.

Key responsibilities

• Write and negotiate sales and marketing contracts following corporate procedures.
• Assemble and maintain the Cafe Event Calendar and Brand Calendar.
• Produce weekly occupancy reports in collaboration with the hotel concierge.
• Communicate with group travel planners and marketing partners, ensuring follow‑up.
• Administer package programs and ensure client payments are received per procedures.
• Maintain sales and marketing assets such as banners, linens, and signage.
• Update the cafe website in coordination with the Support Center Online Marketing team.
• Partner with the Sales & Marketing Manager on prospecting calls to corporate accounts and event organizers.
• Provide on‑site support for buyouts, functions, and designated parties to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Oversee daily social media activity on Instagram and Facebook, creating engaging content and managing community interaction.
• Coordinate with the social agency to evolve the cafe’s social strategy and integrate promotions.

Required profile

• Some college coursework completed.
• Professional appearance and composure during stressful events.
• Take‑charge attitude balanced with diplomacy.
• Ability to work independently while keeping managers and clients informed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.
• Ability to present information effectively to small groups and staff.
