Business Development Manager

About the role

MATA CANTO CREATIVE EVENT CONCEPTS is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the luxury events and travel‑experience market. This full‑time hybrid position is based in Athens and offers flexibility to work remotely while maintaining a strong on‑site presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and prospective clients.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential high‑value clients and partners.
• Prepare proposals, attend client meetings, and coordinate with creative and operations teams to align concepts with client needs.
• Monitor market trends, support pricing and negotiation processes, and contribute to strategic partnerships and brand positioning.
• Attend events, networking functions, and client meetings outside standard office hours when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within events, hospitality, or luxury services.
• Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• Understanding of event concept development, experiential marketing, or travel‑themed experiences.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek or additional languages is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
