Business Development Manager – Commerce Platform

About the role

Wolt is expanding its Commerce Platform in Greece and is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth of its two flagship products – Wolt Drive and Wolt Storefront. You will work closely with the Commerce Platform Lead to identify and secure strategic partnerships with large merchants across retail and restaurant verticals, shaping the future of on‑demand delivery in the country.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand a portfolio of strategic merchant partnerships, targeting both existing and new accounts.
• Lead commercial discussions, present tailored solutions and negotiate contracts alongside the Commerce Platform Lead.
• Identify new business opportunities, manage long sales cycles from prospecting through launch.
• Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives (product, operations, marketing) to ensure successful implementation and scaling of Wolt Drive and Storefront.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine partnership strategies.

Required profile

• Commercially driven professional with proven experience in B2B sales or partnership development.
• Strong ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders in large merchant organizations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a data‑oriented approach to decision making.
• Self‑starter attitude, comfortable working in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Required skills

• Experience selling SaaS or platform‑based solutions to merchants.
• Understanding of last‑mile delivery logistics and e‑commerce ecosystems.
