Blade Design/Process Engineer

About the role

The Blade Design/Process Engineer is responsible for designing and specifying machines, parts, assemblies and mechanisms used in blade production. Working within BIC World’s manufacturing environment, you will create engineering drawings, manage digital product data, and ensure that equipment meets performance, safety and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and specify blade production machines, including parts, assemblies and mechanisms.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings and a 3D parts database.
• Develop manuals and store digital product data in the Engineering Drawings Database.
• Convert legacy drawings into 3D models and updated documentation.
• Apply international standards (ISO, DIN, ANSI) to mechanical components.
• Order prototypes from the machine shop and evaluate third‑party suppliers.
• Manage projects aligned with the Blade Factory’s annual strategy.
• Collaborate with factory supervisors to analyse production issues and propose engineering improvements.
• Prepare reports and data analyses to support plant‑operation enhancements.
• Implement health, safety, environment (HSE) policies and quality system requirements.

• Experience in mechanical design for manufacturing equipment.

• Commitment to HSE and quality standards.

Required skills
