Assistant Waiter / Waitress

About the role

As an Assistant Waiter/Waitress at F ZEEN ATHENS you will support the primary wait staff in delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests in an upscale, adults‑only urban retreat located in the historic centre of Athens. You will help create a pleasant dining atmosphere by anticipating guest needs and ensuring a smooth service flow.

Key responsibilities

• Assist waiters with serving food and drinks at assigned stations.
• Set up and clear tables, including linens, silverware, glassware and cutlery.
• Maintain a clean, organized service station and replenish condiments, salt, pepper and sugar.
• Prepare mise‑en‑place to ensure readiness for service.
• Provide attentive, personalized service and promptly address guest requests.
• Communicate any special guest needs or service incidents to the lead waiter.
• Polish glassware, cutlery and flatware and ensure tables remain tidy.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a 5‑star hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Strong attention to detail, patience and ability to work in a fast‑paced setting.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with effective communication skills.
