Assistant Waiter – Guest Service Role at Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the team at Domes of Elounda, a 5‑star luxury resort in Crete, as an Assistant Waiter (Waiter/Waitress B). You will support the dining floor by delivering attentive service and ensuring a memorable experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly, thank them at departure and encourage repeat visits.
• Assist senior waitstaff in taking and delivering food and beverage orders.
• Maintain prompt, courteous service throughout the meal, responding to guest preferences.
• Set and clear tables efficiently, keep dining areas clean and organized.
• Monitor and replenish stock of supplies and equipment.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Remove dishes, glassware and cutlery from tables promptly.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational training in a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in a luxury hospitality setting is a plus but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of health, safety and sanitation standards.
• Conversational English and familiarity with POS systems are advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
