Application Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Application Engineer to design and develop power distribution and control systems for new and existing products. The role involves creating detailed electrical schematics, preparing prototypes, and supporting certification processes while collaborating closely with sales and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop power distribution and control systems for both new and existing products.
• Create electrical and electronic circuit drawings, bill of materials and product documentation.
• Prepare prototypes, perform testing and support documentation and certification processes.
• Prepare technical proposals and contribute to cost analysis for proposed products and services.
• Conduct site surveys at customer premises to identify optimal solutions.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers, including technical presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Polytechnic School).
• Proven experience in low‑voltage distribution, electronics and microcontrollers.
• Experience in product management and preparation of technical proposals.
• Proficiency with electrical schematic design tools such as EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Familiarity with electronic design tools like Altium.
• Knowledge of microcontroller programming in C/C++.
• Computer skills in MS Office and fluency in English.
