Advanced Solutions Architect

About the role

Light & Wonder is looking for an Advanced Solutions Architect to lead technical direction for its iGaming Platform. This senior position blends hands‑on delivery with architectural ownership, ensuring the platform scales, integrates, and operates reliably for global online gaming providers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and document Architectural Decision Records (ADRs) for major design choices.
• Participate actively in the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and enforce L&W architectural standards.
• Define integration contracts, non‑functional requirements, and security controls across the Nova platform.
• Produce high‑quality solution designs, from C4 diagrams to component‑level detail.
• Design and evolve RESTful and event‑driven APIs using OpenAPI specifications.
• Architect integrations with payment providers, identity services, regulatory reporting, and operator platforms.
• Provide technical governance for CI/CD pipelines, environment architecture, and deployment strategies (GitHub Actions, Kustomize, ArgoCD).
• Lead threat‑modelling exercises (STRIDE, Threagile) and translate findings into actionable security requirements.
• Define performance baselines, resilience patterns, observability, and security standards for Java/Spring services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise‑level software architecture, preferably within iGaming or related high‑throughput domains.
• Strong ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting design rationales and leading governance forums.
