Accounting & Tax Expert

About the role

Join Procter & Gamble's Finance & Accounting team in Athens as an Accounting & Tax Expert. You will support business growth by ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and seamless accounting processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare manual journal entries, calculate and post accruals, and reconcile warehouse and general ledger balances.
• Oversee tax compliance, prepare and submit quality tax reports, and support statutory and tax certificate audits.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reconcile affiliate general ledger balances.
• Manage My Data reconciliation for revenue and expense submissions.
• Maintain proper archiving and supporting documentation.
• Participate in accounting system upgrades, process changes, and cross‑functional business projects.
• Collaborate closely with affiliated service centers and the Greece Country Comptroller as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Relevant experience in accounting, preferably within a multinational corporation or audit firm.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
