Senior Tax Associate

About the role

KPMG Greece is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to support the Business Tax Advisory team. Reporting to a manager, you will deliver high‑quality tax advisory services across domestic and international matters, focusing on corporate taxation, M&A transactions, and tax structuring projects.

Key responsibilities

• Research, analyze and interpret domestic, European and international tax legislation, regulations and administrative guidance.
• Prepare technical tax memoranda, opinions and written advice on a broad spectrum of tax matters.
• Liaise with tax authorities and support the handling of tax inquiries.
• Monitor tax and regulatory developments and assess their impact on client operations and transactions.

Required profile

• University degree in Law (LL.B); a Master’s in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Tax or related field is an asset.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in domestic or international tax advisory, tax controversy or related areas.
• Strong understanding of corporate taxation and genuine interest in international tax, M&A transactions and tax structuring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
